Privacy policy

Last updated 9 October 2026

In short

  • We only collect what we need to run this website and reply to you.
  • Analytics cookies are off unless you accept them.
  • We never sell your data, or use it for advertising.
  • You can ask what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, at any time.

Who we are

This website is run by ProStorePlus Ltd (“ProStore+”, “we” or “us”). We’re the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

For anything about your privacy, email us at hello@prostoreplus.ie.

This policy covers this website only. The ProStore+ app, and every club’s app, has its own privacy policy, which you’ll see before you create an account.

What we collect, and why

When you contact us

Our contact form doesn’t send anything to us by itself. It opens your own email app with your details filled in, and we only receive them if you send the email.

What
Your name, email address, club, message and the revenue streams you tick, plus anything else you tell us.
Why
To reply to you, and to talk to you about ProStore+ for your club.
Legal basis
Our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, and taking steps you ask for before any agreement.
How long
2 years after our last contact, unless your club goes on to use ProStore+.

Analytics, if you accept

If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics to see how people use this site, so we can make it better. If you don’t, it never loads.

What
The pages and sections you view, the buttons and links you use, the figures you try in our calculator, how you found us, and your device, browser and rough location. Google Analytics doesn’t store your IP address.
Why
To understand which parts of the site help clubs, and improve the rest.
Legal basis
Your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
How long
14 months, after which Google Analytics deletes it.

When you visit

Like every website, ours has to receive some details from your browser to show you a page.

What
Your IP address, your browser, the page you asked for and the time.
Why
To deliver the site to you and keep it secure.
Legal basis
Our legitimate interest in running a working, secure website.
How long
Only as long as our hosting provider needs it to run and protect the service.

Cookies and what we store on your device

We save 2 small choices in your browser so the site remembers them. They stay on your device and aren’t sent to us. Google Analytics adds 2 cookies, and only if you accept.

You can change your mind at any time. If you decline after accepting, we switch Google Analytics off and delete its cookies.

Who we share it with

We don’t sell your data or share it for advertising. We use a few service providers, who handle it for us and only as we instruct:

  • Google Ireland Limited, which hosts this website (Firebase Hosting) and, if you accept, runs Google Analytics.
  • Our email provider, which stores the emails you send us.

Google may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. When it does, it relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

Under data protection law, you can ask us to:

  • give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • correct it if it’s wrong
  • delete it
  • limit how we use it, or stop using it
  • give it to you in a format you can take elsewhere

Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. That doesn’t affect what we did before.

To use any of these rights, email hello@prostoreplus.ie. We’ll reply within 1 month.

If you’re not happy with how we’ve handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Data Protection Commission, 21 Fitzwilliam Square South, Dublin 2, D02 RD28, at www.dataprotection.ie.

Children

This website is for clubs and the people who run them. It isn’t aimed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect children’s data through it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
